Nose art on Avro Lancaster bomber aircraft A-Able showing a stylised Australian flag and 30 missions flown. The captain of the aircraft had also been awarded a Distinguished Flying Cross (DFC) and this had also been painted beside the bombs and ice cream cones (Italian missions) to display the number of missions.
