Description
New Guinea. After a good delayed Christmas dinner, these troops in the Masaweng area enjoy a quiet game of cards. As the troops carry little money in these advanced areas, these boys used Owen gun bullets as chips - each bullet representing one shilling (1/-). Left to right: Private D. O'Hara of Fairfield; Driver (Dvr) J. O. Temple of Paddington; Dvr K. C. Lynagh of Dalby, Qld; Corporal S. A. Davies of Drummoyne, NSW.
