Description
Photographed from the aircraft carrier HMAS Melbourne, the carrier HMS Victorious and other RN and RAN escorts manoeuvre in a tactical formation off the west coast of Peninsula Malaysia. These warships were participating in Exercise Showpiece held at the end of FOTEX 65. This was a symbolic demonstration of the sea and air power capability of the British Far East Fleet then serving in the Far East Strategic Reserve (FESR).
