Group portrait of four members of the Australian Army Training Team Vietnam (AATTV) enjoying some refreshments after their march past the saluting base at Vung Tau, the HQ of 1st Australian Logistic Support Group (NO 1 ALSG), and where the AATTV were awarded the United States Army Meritorious Unit Commendation. The commendation was presented by United States Army General, Creighton W Abrams, Commander US Military Assistance Command Vietnam (COMUSMACV). Identified are 28888 Warrant Officer 2 (WO2) Robert Thomas Cullen, AATTV. WO2 Cullen also served during the Second World War as NX177173 and later with the British Commonwealth Occupation Force (BCOF) in Japan with the 65th Infantry Battalion. He also served with 1st Battalion, The Royal Australian Regiment (1RAR), during the Korean War as a Sergeant with the service number 21012, from March 1952 to March 1953 (far left); 11308 WO2 Gordon Lionel Herschell, Royal Australian Infantry Corps (second from left); 36958 Sgt (temporary WO2) Allan Kenneth Jones, Royal Australian Infantry Corps (third from left); and 28542 WO2 John Henry Griffth, Royal Australian Infantry Corps (far right).
