Description
Part of the contingent of 132 ex and current members of the Australian Army Training Team Vietnam (AATTV), marching on the parade ground at 1 Australian Logistic Support Group (1ALSG), Vung Tau after receiving the United States Army Meritorious Unit Commendation, which is the small gold framed rectangle of scarlet ribbon, visible on the upper sleeve just below the shoulder strap and above their AATTV patch. Most of these men appear to hold the rank of Warrant Officer (crown patch on sleeve) and they are armed with 7.62 mm L1A1 self-loading rifles (SLR) with fitted bayonets.
