Victoria. Post 1920. The Roll of Honour board for the Tongio, Bindi and Nugong Schools to commemorate those men from the area in north eastern Victoria, who served in the First World War. The names on the Roll of Honour are: "Ainsworth, C. Ainsworth, D. Condon, T. + Davis, D. Davis, E. Davis, J. Doyle, D. + Fregon, F. + Hollonds, F. Hollonds, T. Margetts, F. H. Jones, C. Jones, V. Murphy, J. Murphy, M. + Mortimer, R. + Mosley, E. + Nankervis, W. Waterson, D. Weston, D. Yapp, E." Note that those men who died have their names marked by a cross. After the war Roll of Honour boards were erected in many local schools, halls and churches as a means of acknowledging the commitment made by the community.(Donor W. C. Barton)
