Sailors from HMAS Perth, members of the new commissioning crew, meet the stars of the US television series 'Bonanza'. From left to right: Able Seaman Rodney Klease, actor Lorne Green (vest), Leading Seaman Ian Hackett, actor Dan Blocker (stetson) and Leading Engineering Mechanic Neil Devene. Their commanding officer, Captain Ian H Cartwright, also shared his name with the fictional Cartwright family depicted in the western.
