From the left are Lieutenant ( later Captain) George Fay, Major Adam McAllister and Sergeant Major Phillips of the Australian 8th Light Horse Regiment. Captain Fay was killed in action on 1 December 1917. Major McAllister died of wounds on 7 May 1917. (Donor Mrs L.E. Mc Allister)
