An unidentified Australian Sergeant riding a Bicycle past the Gloucester Theatre. The solidier is wearing the Roman numeral shoulder patch of the 67th Battalion (LXVII). The unit was soon after renamed the 3rd Battalion The Royal Australian Regiment (3RAR) and was part of the Australian committment to the British Commonwealth Occupation Force (BCOF). Note the fire buckets outside the theatre which was probably named for the British Gloucester Regiment.
