Description
An unidentified Australian Staff Sergeant (SSgt) (right), and another Non Commissioned Officer (NCO) (left), lay a fuse to destroy a mine washed up on a small beach. The officers are from a Bomb Disposal unit of the British Commonwealth Occupation Force (BCOF). The unit was responsible for destroying live armaments and many high explosives left over from the Second World War.
