Description
Air Commodore (Air Cdre) A M Charlesworth (left), takes the salute from unidentified RAAF officers from the British Commonwealth Occupation Force (BCOF), at an Investiture Parade, at Kure. RAAF troops wearing dress uniform march past the rostrum. Air Cdre Charlesworth also presented medals to officers and Non Commissioned Officers (NCOs), as part of his role as BCOF Headquarters Chief of Staff. Two Military Police (MP) guards wearing white belts, holsters and full white sleeves stand by the rostrum. In the foreground is a table covered with the Union Jack, which was possibly used to hold medals for the presentation ceremony.
