Three unidentified Japanese children wearing the traditional costume of kimono with obi. The two older girls are wearing decorative headpieces. All three are wearing make-up, and each is displaying one foot in a tabi sock (two-toed). They are on stage in a large hall, taking part in a performance for officers of the British Commonwealth Occupation Force (BCOF) and their wives.
