Description
A Kaman Sea Sprite helicopter from the Kitty Hawk class aircraft carrier of the same name hovers over the stern of the Guided Missile Destroyer HMAS Hobart. A Helicopter Control officer (HCO) directs the transfer of a USN officer as he is winched onto the quarterdeck below as two sailors prepare to receive him. This activity took place during operations in the Gulf of Tonkin.
