c. 1920. A captured German Lange 21cm Morser, without a shield. The range of this gun was 10,280 yards with a 1914 short shell and 11.155 yards with a 1896 long shell. Next to it (in the background) is a pre First World War 122mm siege gun. Note the letters IWM probably meaning the Imperial War Museum written on the barrel. (Donor J. Whitelaw)
