Informal portrait of Trooper (Tpr) Ralph Williams (possibly 2526 Tpr Ralph Williams, of Waverley, NSW, who enlisted on 14 February 1917, served with the Camel Corps and returned to Australia on 26 July 1919), an Aboriginal serviceman, mounted on his horse. Tpr Williams has a sabre hanging from his saddle which would probably indicate that he is a member of a Light Horse militia unit.
