The Prime Minister of Australia (PM), the Right Honourable Robert G. Menzies (right, wearing a suit) enjoyed a drink with a group of RAN ratings and soldiers at an outdoors mess. Here Mr Menzies talks to an unidentified sergeant (centre) as Lieutenant General Horace Robertson, Commanding Officer of the British Commonwealth Occupation Forces (BCOF) looks on. The General accompanied the PM on his tour of BCOF units and bases shortly after the start of the Korean War.
