An unidentified Staff Sergeant (SSgt) (right), and a Sergeant (2nd from right) mark rolls as troops begin their walk up the gangplank of a transport or troopship, T120, docked at Kure harbour. At the head of the queue is an unidentified Sergeant carrying his personal gear. The troops are on their way to participate in the first Australian operations in the Korean War.
