Two unidentified members of the 3rd Battalion, The Royal Australian Regiment (3RAR), take a break at a rest area and eat tinned food from their ration boxes. The soldiers are sitting in a dry eroded gully. Their carboard ration boxes are on the ground in front of them and the soldier on the left has his Lee Enfield rifle propped up next to him.
