Description

A British Centurion tank, probably belonging to the 8th King's Royal Irish Hussars, has pulled up by a river and timber wharf. Evident on the side of the tank is a 5 pointed star, the common recognition symbol for United States (US) vehicles and aircraft. The preponderence of United States forces in the UN command coupled with the increasing reliance on USAF air to ground support, made the adoption of the recognizable US star throughout the UN forces a necessity.
