Identified in the back row from left to right: 1197 Private (Pte) Arthur Gilbert Griffiths; 1342 Pte Bezey Claude Wicks; 1292 Pte Francis John Rowson; 1248 Pte Frederick Lovell McDonald; L Harriott (cannot be further identified); 1134 Pte Lionel Harford Bartlett (later Second Lieutenant); and 1208 Pte Frederic Edward Hill (later died of wounds on 23 September 1915 at Gallipoli, Turkey).
