Sitting at his desk portrait of Engineer Rear Admiral Alec Broughton Doyle CBE BE, born 1888. He became Engineer Sub Lieutenant in 1912 and attained rank of Engineer Rear Admiral in 1943. Was created CBE in 1937. Is Third Naval Member of the Australian Commonwealth Naval Board.
