Xa Long Phuoc, Phuoc Tuy Province, Vietnam. c. June 1966. A M113 armoured personnel carrier (APC) moves along the perimeter of the village of Xa Long Phuoc where 6th Battalion, The Royal Australian Regiment (6RAR), were conducting a search and destroy operation. Note the number on the APC is 21A. The people had been moved out earlier from the former Viet Cong dominated village. Operation Enoggera was carried out between 21 June to 5 July with large quantities of rice and medical supplies found and more than twenty tunnel complexes destroyed. (Donor W. Cox)
