Description

Lake Burrinjuck in the process of filling in 1912 and Burrinjuck, NSW seen from the opposite bank. The workers barracks and the growing township are on the hill at right. Lake Burrinjuck was created by the construction of the Burrinjuck Dam on the Murrumbidgee River. Note the partly submerged trees in the foreground of the photograph.
