Korea. c. 1951. Informal portrait of 24000369 Lance Corporal (L Cpl) Raymond Cobban of Redfern, NSW, and of the 3rd Battalion, The Royal Australian Regiment (3RAR). L Cpl Cobban, who is probably an Aboriginal serviceman, also served in the Second World War. Born in 1924, he concealed his age when he enlisted in 1941, and went on to serve with 2/33 Battalion.
