Description
Two members of the Kings Own Scottish Borderers (KOSB) stand at attention at special parade in the Battalion lines in Korea. The taller of the two soldiers is Private William Speakman (centre), winner of the second Victoria Cross to be awarded for gallantry in the Korean War. The soldier on his right is unidentified. An officer stands at the microphone and makes a speech, as officers and men of the KSOB stand at ease and listen. Three unidentified photographers and cinecameramen (right) take photographs and film of the ceremony. Note the makeshift dais.
