Description
An unidentified soldier, probably a member of the 3rd Battalion, The Royal Australian Regiment (3RAR), celebrates receiving a Christmas parcel at a camp in Korea. He is putting on a show for the camera by sitting on the ground and swigging from a bottle of Melbourne Bitter Ale. In front of the soldier is an open wooden box of supplies including Sweetacres Jaffas, Arnott's Milk Coffee Biscuits and Arnott's Cherry Ripe Biscuits. Each box contains items such as beer, biscuits, sweets, tinned foods, tobacco and soap. The boxes have been provided by the Daily Telegraph Sydney Korean Christmas Box Fund.
