Description
An unidentified soldier, probably from the 3rd Battalion, The Royal Australian Regiment (3RAR), lifts a US Army soldier off the back of a truck. Other soldiers are helping to lower the American. He is in a weakened state after being released from captivity by the North Korean or Chinese forces. Snow lies on the ground and the men are all wearing cold weather uniforms. Note the Bren gun hanging from the back of the soldier lifting the American.
