South Korea. c. 1951. An American sentry armed with an automatic rifle surveys a fire in distant Seoul from his vantage point in a slit trench overlooking the frozen Han River. The fire in Seoul was the aftermath of a violent strike by Royal Navy Corsair aircraft.
