Korea. c. 1951. Magazines and newspapers supplied by various organisations in Japan to troops in Korea are eagerly read by Private A. Allen of Fifeshire, Scotland; Corporal J. Cron of Berwick-on-Tweed, Scotland, and Private J. Butler of Nairshire, Scotland. Note the Bren gun and the .303 calibre rifle resting on the sandbags in front of the soldiers, the TNT explosive box at left and the sandbag and log cover on their shelter at rear.
