Korea. c. 1951. A Vickers medium machine gun is cleaned in a British Commonwealth post after five days of fighting in which it threw more than 60,000 rounds at the enemy. Doing the essential maintenance on the Vickers are Private G. E. Wease of Brisbane, Qld, and Private A. Thorn of North Sydney, NSW, of the 3rd Battalion, The Royal Australian Regiment (3RAR).
