Korea. c. 1951. Supplies must follow close on the heels of an advancing army and in Korea the Korean carrier is playing an important role. This long line of carriers is pictured snaking its way to forward positions across a valley under guard of an Australian soldier armed with an American carbine. The Koreans are loaded with rations, ammunition and four gallon drums of water. The soldier is from the 3rd Battalion, The Royal Australian Regiment (3RAR).
