Description

Tracks used by soldiers criss cross a hill in Korea. A trench, occupied around this time by the 3rd Battalion, The Royal Australian Regiment (3RAR), can be seen on the right. Trenches in Korea were similar in style to those used by the AIF at Gallipoli. Some of the representatives of the Returned & Services League (RSL) who were First World War veterans, visited the trenches during the Korean War and commented on their similarity to those at Gallipoli.
