Description
A trench, possibly occupied around this time by the 3rd Battalion, The Royal Australian Regiment (3RAR), has been cut into a hillside in Korea. The trenches in Korea were similar in style to those used by the AIF at Gallipoli. Some of the representatives of the Returned & Services League (RSL) who were First World War veterans, visited the trenches during the Korean War and commented on their similarity to those at Gallipoli.
