Description
A souvenir from Operation Santa Fe. This painting of Ho Chi Minh was found by Australian troops during a sweep through a Viet Cong base camp which had been quickly evacuated in the face of the Australian advance. Admiring it from left to right are Pilot Officer Peter Davidson, pilot; the soldier who found the painting Corporal Doug Fieldhouse, a member of 7RAR mortar platoon; and Flight Lieutenant Bob Thompson, No. 9 Squadron Iroquois pilot.
