A cross and wreath mark the grave in Alexandria (Hadra) War Memorial Cemetery, Plot 3, Row B, Grave 7, of 404257 Pilot Officer Cecil Terence O'Brien RAAF, of No. 459 Squadron RAAF, who died 10 July 1942. PO O'Brien's promotion to Flying Officer had probably not reached his unit before the time of his death. He was the son of Thomas and Catherine O'Brien of Capella, Qld. Hadra is a district on the eastern side of Alexandria.
