Description

Cairo, Egypt. 31 December 1943. The Alamein Club, gift of the Egyptian people to the Allied Forces, was the scene of a New Year Party at which were present members of the forces of Great Britain, the United States, India, Australia, New Zealand, South Africa. Guests from many Allied lands line up to sign the Visitor's Book at the Club.
