Fayid, Egypt. August 1941. A cross marks the grave in the Fayid War Cemetery, Plot 1, Row C, Grave 17, of Sergeant (Sgt) Everard Harvie Mills RAAF, of No. 112 Squadron RAF, who died 31 August 1941 as a result of an aircraft accident. The service number 404168 shown on the cross is incorrect. Sgt Mills' correct number is 404180. He was the son of Albert Thomas Mills and Eleanore Frances Mills of Toorak, Vic. Fayid is a town, twenty kilometres south of Ismailia.
