Pleiku, South Vietnam. October 1968. Captain David Savage of Elimbah, Qld (left), and Warrant Officer Joe Urquhart of Revesby, NSW, both of the Australian Army Training Team Vietnam (AATTV), examine a 7.62mm machine gun captured at the Battle of Duc Lap between 23 - 26 August 1968. The handles of a 12.7mm Soviet type heavy machine gun, which was captured in the same battle, can be seen behind them. Note the rifles in racks in the background.
