Description
North Korea. November 1950. Two unidentified soldiers of the 3rd Battalion, The Royal Australian Regiment (3RAR), `mopping up' in a village. The Australians can be seen cleaning up pockets of resistance in isolated hamlets north of the Kaeryong River near Pakchon. One soldier (right) uses the stone foundation of a house to rest his Bren gun on and protect himself against fire. , the other wearing glasses, observes the fall of shot.
