Nui Dat, South Vietnam. June 1967. Tactics to be used against the Viet Cong are discussed by the Deputy Leader of the Federal Opposition, Mr Lance H. Barnard (left). With him are, Private Peter Prior of Moorabbin, Vic (centre), and Private Trevor Ling of Smith Town, Tas. The troops, members of the Victorian-based 7th Battalion, The Royal Australian Regiment (7RAR), with the 1st Australian Task Force (1ATF) at Nui Dat, were paid a quick visit by Mr Barnard.
