Description
The grave of 359 Private (Pte) Frederick William Polldore, 19th Battalion and two unidentified British servicemen. Pte Polldore, a printer from St Peters, NSW prior to enlistment, embarked with A Company from Melbourne on HMAT Ceramic on 25 June 1915. After being wounded in action at Gallipoli, he was evacuated to Malta where, on 2 October 1915, aged 18, he succumbed to his wounds and was buried in the Pieta Military Cemetery, Malta.
