The entrance to the camping ground at Hampton Bridge used by 1st Cavalry Division, Headquarters Signal Office. NX119988 Lieutenant Colonel Robert Claud Vivian Humphery was the Officer Commanding, and NX235 Lieutenant (later Major) Robert Charles Anstee was Second in Command. There were 42 men in the camp and they trained on two wireless transmitter sets. There is a guard at the gate and an officer on a motorcycle, with the registration number, DR 02.
