Description
One of the buildings that formed Ivanhoe Grammar School, which is being now being used for the 2 Signals Training Battalion, for members of the Australian Women's Army Service (AWAS). This building is known as Sherwood House and the top floor was used as a hospital, and the bottom floor contained the Orderly Room, Adjutant's office and Sergeant's Mess. The AWAS officers also slept in this building. Just behind this building to the left is the AWAS Mess hut and to the extreme right is the sergeants' quarters.
