Gallipoli, Turkey. 25 April 1915. The first field dressing station of the 7th Battalion, AIF. It was a natural hole in Monash Gully and many early wounded were treated there. The man on the right is Corporal R. Bates who later became the Reverend R. Bates of Brisbane. The other two men were original stretcher bearers the 7th Battalion. (Donor Captain H.A. Barker)
