Official war artist Ivor Hele holding his drawing of 5/7003 Temporary Captain Bryan Taylor Luscombe, Headquarters 1st Commonwealth Division attached to 1903 Independent Air OP Flight RAF. Capt Luscombe was killed in action (KIA) in Korea on 5 June 1952. The next day Hele drew Australian soldiers attending a service for the deceased soldier (see ART90312).
