Captain (Capt) Ivor Stephen Margetts of Wynyard, Tas, who served in the 12th Battalion, standing outside his tent. Capt Margetts was killed in action at Pozieres on 24 July 1916 and was buried by his men on the battlefield. His grave was photographed in 1917 (E000532 and E00193), however, the German Spring Offensive in 1918 re-captured Pozieres and Margetts' grave was obliterated and was lost. His name is commemorated on the Villers-Bretonneux Memorial.
