Grave of 487 Corporal (Cpl) Andrew John Berry, labourer, of Young, New South Wales. He enlisted in the 19th Battalion on 15 February 1915 and embarked from Melbourne on HMAT Ceramic on 25 June 1915 for Gallipoli. Pte Berry was wounded in action on 24 August 1915 and was evacuated to Malta where he died of wounds on 11 September 1915, aged 26. He is buried with two British Servicemen in the Pieta Military Cemetery, Malta. (Donor: President of Malta)
