Members of A and C companies of the 11th Battalion, a West Australian unit, are transported on the battleship HMS London from Lemnos towards the Gallipoli Peninsula. Standing on deck they look towards the impressive sight of a line of ships steaming in line astern. They are: HMS Queen (leading); HMS Triumph; HMS Prince of Wales and HMS Bacchante.
