Description
The band of 1st Battalion, Royal Australian Regiment (1 RAR) plays to an unidentified group of soldiers clustered around two British Army QL series trucks. Identified are: 2/1094 Warrant Office I Noel A Vines, conductor, left and 'Billy' Nicholls (probably 2/3801 Lance Corporal W G Nicholls). Billy Nicholls' brother 'Cliffy' was also in the band, but not visible in this image. A tent is in the right background and some signal flags are laid over a low wooden barrier.
