Description
A large crowd of soldiers, probably from the 1st Battalion, The Royal Australian Regiment (1RAR) or the 3rd Battalion (3RAR), have gathered for an athletics carnival at a camp in Korea. An unidentified competitor in the high jump attempts to clear the bar, while a serviceman, acting as an official, watches from the side (right). Note the bar of the high jump is made from two pieces of timber joined together.
